Vietnam Educational Tour

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of the most interesting sites in Hanoi. The tour includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Ba Dinh Square – The old residence of Ho Chi Minh – One Pillar Pagoda – Ethnological Museum – Temple of Literature – time for rest & lunch – visit a university in Hanoi - exchange with local students, share experiences - return to the old town - take an in-depth walking tour for an overview of the local life and businesses - free time - dinner in a local restaurant – transfer to the railway station for your night train to Lao Cai.

Upon your early arrival in Lao Cai city – pick up and transfer to a nearby restaurant for breakfast – transfer by car along the winding road towards the local market – spend your time strolling around the market for an overview of local life and photographic opportunities – time for rest and lunch – visit local schools - board your bus and travel to Sapa – arrive at the hotel in the afternoon – get your room for refreshments - dinner at a local restaurant - the rest of the day is yours.

Breakfast – transfer by car to the cable car station for a short cable ride and then take a walk to the top of the Fanxipang Mountain for a breathtaking view of the whole area – return to the car and transfer to Sapa town – time for a break and lunch - hike up to the top of Ham Rong mountain – spend your time at the top, where you will be overwhelmed by the panoramic view – return to the hotel for refreshments before your dinner - transfer to the railway station for your night train back to Hanoi.

Early arrival at the station - pick up and transfer to the early flower market & fresh food market – morning activities around Hoan Kiem Lake – set off to Ha Long Bay -along the way, stop off for a coffee and breakfast - continue through the Paddy fields to the harbor. Upon arrival board your traditional Vietnamese boat - set sail through the limestone islands whilst having a nice seafood lunch - time for a break in your private room or on the top deck - take a sampan ride to visit a traditional fishing village to experience their way of life - return to the boat and attend a short cooking class - time to relax on the top deck at sunset - dinner - the rest of the day is yours

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of this historical city. Today’s experiences include: Cau Ngoi Village – the countryside market - The Hue Old Citadel, which contains the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City – time to relax and enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant - a leisurely boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – transfer by road to visit Minh Mang Tomb – return to the hotel for refreshments before your dinner. The rest of the day is at your leisure

Breakfast – transfer by road along the coastal road toward Hoi An ancient town - head up the Hai Van with a stop at the top of the Pass to explore old French bunkers and take in a parting view of Da Nang and the bay – onward travel downhill and then stop at Nam O Bridge & Red Beach II (where the US Marines made their famous amphibious landing 1965) – time for rest and drinks ( at your own expenses) – visit Cham Sculpture Museum – proceed to Hoi An ancient town with a visit to Marble Mountain – check in the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Breakfast – pick up from the hotel and take an in-depth walking tour of the most interesting sites in Hoi An, which include the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Tan Ky Ancient House, and The vibrant market – time for rest and drinks or food (at your own expenses)- Board a traditional boat for a leisurely ride along Thu Bon River – stop off at Thanh Ha Ceramic village – wander around to learn about this craft village – return to the boat and proceed to Kim Bong Carpentry village – leave your boat and stroll around for an insight into this furniture making village – float along the river towards Cua Dai for a fantastic view at sunset before transfer back to your hotel.

Today's experiences include visits to: a nursery school to see how the babies are taken care of - a primary school to learn more about how the children conduct their schooling - a high school to find out what the older children learn for the future - time to relax and have lunch at a local restaurant in Hoi An ancient town - some free to wander around the streets on your own to explore more about this ancient city - the rest of the day is yours.

After breakfast you will drive about 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels and learn about this incredible underground system of tunnels and have a glimps at what daily life was like during the Viet Nam War. After lunch, you will return to the city to visit a local university to make some exchanges of education, culture and daily life. Lastly you will visit the Jade Emperor Pagoda, one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam. The rest of the day will be yours.

Up early – breakfast – transfer by road to Ben Tre – visit a brick factory – board a traditional style boat for a scenic cruise along the Mekong River – make some stops at local houses along the way – hop on bikes for a leisurely ride through the countryside – lunch in a typical Mekong village restaurant - board a motorboat to explore more of the Mekong Delta. Afterwards return to the car for your transfer to Cai Be. The rest of the day is yours
