Enjoy a boat ride through the 4000 Islands passing Don Som and Don Det. The old railway line starts at Don Det and continues over the French railway bridge to Don Khone and all the way to Han Khone overlooking Cambodia. The idea was to have a trade route along the Mekong so the Railway line was built to bypass the waterfalls along the Mekong fault line. Stop at Don Khone where you will spend the night in a bungalow overlooking the Mekong and the French Bridge.
After check into your Bungalow continue to visit the waterfall by bicycle or by tuk tuk and visit Liphi waterfall before heading to the southern tip of Don Khone known as Hang Khone here you will take a boat to see the Irrawaddy dolphins. We return to Bungalow free at your leisure
