Long neck Karen or Kayan “the land of the giraffe women” as Polish explorer Vitold de Polish called it. There are about 30.000 Kayan people around the world today. They live in the state of Kayath in Myanmar close to Thailand border. It is believed that the Kayan people first arrived in Thailand in 1987 forced by armed conflict.

You will visit the Bann Dam Museum before returning to hotel.

Wat Rong Khun (White Temple) is a unique Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai attracted most travellers visit the city since 1997. The temple was built and invested by Chalermchai Kositpipat, a local artist from Chiang Rai. He has spent about THB 1.080 million on the project and intend to make the place become a learning, teaching and meditation.

The temple was built by a concrete and wooden roof with sparkling porcelain and a blend of whitewash and transparent mirrored chips.

Chalermchai Kositpipat considers the temple as a present to Lord Buddha. Today the work still going on and expecting to complete in 2070
