Da Nang tourism promoted in India

The Da Nang Department of Tourism in collaboration with Vietjet Air organised a programme to promote Da Nang tourism in Ahmedabad City, India, on Monday.

The event aimed to foster the tourism cooperation between Da Nang and Ahmedabad through Vietjet Air-operated direct flights, as well as introduce the city’s tourism stimulus programme in 2025 called 'Enjoy Da Nang 2025 - Diverse Experience' to Indian tourists.

During the programme, the municipal Department of Tourism introduced spaces connecting tourism businesses of the two countries, the Ahmedabad - Da Nang direct air route, and Da Nang tourism products and services.

Recently, India has been among Da Nang's top 10 international tourist sources. In 2024, Da Nang welcomed more than 222,000 Indian visitor arrivals, accounting for nearly 50% of the total number of Indian visitors to Viet Nam.

Based on customer preferences, Da Nang has launched special service packages for MICE tourism and wedding tourism for Indian tourists.
