Dak Lak develops new products to stimulate tourism

By 2025, Dak Lak province is focusing on completing new tourism products to stimulate the domestic tourism market. The tourism sector aims for total revenue from tourism to reach 1.6 trillion VND and total visitor arrivals to hit 2 million.

To stimulate tourism, right from the beginning of 2025, the province organized a program to welcome the "one million, five hundred thousandth" tourist and the first tourist group arriving in Dak Lak. With a warm reception, including flower presentations, gift giving, and gong performances, the welcoming program left a positive impression in the hearts of tourists.

Ms. Lưu Minh Lan, a tourist from Long Bien District, Hanoi, stated that she has visited Dak Lak Province multiple times and has always been impressed by this livable region, the friendly and hospitable locals, its unique culture, and the favorable natural climate. At the beginning of the new year 2025, she and her family plan to travel to Dak Lak for one week to boost motivation for work and study for the upcoming year, with key destinations including the Gia Long - Dray Nur Waterfall cluster, Lak Lake, Buon Don, and exploring other landmarks.

In addition to welcoming tourists to ensure that "every resident is a tourism ambassador," the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak Province is collaborating with the Tourism Association to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the issuance of a Tourism Stimulus Plan for 2025. To attract visitors, alongside general incentive policies, the province plans to implement specific incentive policies for Dak Lak residents traveling within the province; at the same time, policies will also be developed for tourists coming from 16 provinces and cities and the Association of Industrial Parks of Ho Chi Minh City—within the connectivity region to Dak Lak tourism. The launch event for the tourism stimulus is expected to take place in February 2025.
