The Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum has modern architecture. The exterior is designed in the shape of a bamboo hat covered with camouflage mesh along with a system of concrete and steel bars forming a diamond shape, symbolizing the garrison shirt of Dien Bien soldiers in the past. The museum consists of 1 basement and 1 upper floor. The upper floor is a permanent exhibition space specializing in the Dien Bien Phu historical victory, a panorama space and a working department. The basement is a place to welcome visitors, a space for learning, interaction and entertainment services.
The special highlight of the Dien Bien Phu Historical Victory Museum is the panorama located in the center of the museum. This is a panoramic picture that completely and seamlessly recreates the typical battles according to the developments of the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, giving viewers a complete, intuitive and vivid perspective. The panorama is arranged in 4 stages: "The whole people go to battle"; "The majestic prelude"; "The historical confrontation" and "The triumphant song to celebrate the victory".
