The passengers then embarked on a day-long exploration of Phu Quoc’s iconic attractions. In addition, they toured local markets to explore specialty gifts and delicacies.
The tourists then returned to the ship in the afternoon to continue their journey onto the next destination.
This marks the first international cruise ship to arrive at the port this year. In February, Phu Quoc will receive two more ships, bringing with it more than 5,500 visitors.
Phu Quoc International Passenger Port spans a total area of 180 hectares and has had investment of over VND1.64 trillion. The port has the capacity to accommodate luxury cruise ships, which brings in up to 4,000 tourists each.
