Trip overview
Mo Cay is a former rural district (district) of Ben Tre Province in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. As of 2003 the district had a population of 274,265. The district covers an area of 370 km². The district capital lies at Mo Cay. It is famous for its coconut candy.In late March 2009, Mo Cay was split in into Mo Cay Bac District (North Mo Cay) and Mo Cay Nam District (South Mo Cay).

Full day: Saigon - Mo Cay Ben Tre Mekong Delta (Lunch)
A tour to explore the daily life and traditional handy-craft of local people along the banks of the Mekong delta as well as experience the rowing boat through the wet coconut forest
Start at your hotel for 2 days to explore Mekong delta. You will travel about 2 hours to Ben Tre “the coconut destination”. Upon arrival, you will take a boat trip to see how we use coconuts daily, what can be made from coconuts, and enjoy traditional folk song “Don Ca Tai Tu”. Today you will have lunch in the garden of a local family or a restaurant by the Mekong River. After lunch, let’s experience the Tuk Tuk ride among the coconuts forest to the rowing boat. The rowing boat will take you to different channels covered by water coconuts….What about the coconuts market you may want to visit as well. The tour ends upon arrive the Ho Chi Minh city.
