A border province and official Frontier Area, Ha Giang lies in the remote far northern region of the country. To visit this province is to journey back in time and encounter some of Vietnam’s most rugged and grand landscapes. Ha Giang is best experienced as a road trip on two wheels, soaking up the majesty of the landscape and the atmosphere of the remote towns and minority villages.
Tour itinerary
In the morning pick up at hotel for Babe lake discovery, the biggest fresh water lake on the mountain in Vietnam which formed million years ago with depth of 25 - 35 meter in central of Ba Be national park. The journey takes about 6 hours drive on a private car, on the way you will have chance to see stunning scenery and visit Ethnology museum in Thai Nguyen. On arrival National Park you will access directly to Pac Ngoi village located in the central face to Nang river. In the evening enjoy traditional music and dance presented by Tay minority people
Today you will take a day trip to Nang river visit Bat cave towards dock for a nice walk up to Dau Dang waterfalls, small lunch will be arranged before you return to the boat. Continue your trip with a traditional motor boat ride to explore Ba Be lake where you can see they farming and fishing around the lake expecting for good shorts of the trip. You will return to village for lunch, afternoon visit Hoa Ma cave by bike. Overnight in the village
*Starting from Pac Ngoi village will finish at Pooc Luom port or other way around.
After breakfast you will continue to a beautiful moutain road toward Hoang Su Phi, Hagiang known as the most spectacular rice terrace. Upon arrival you will take a walk to visit a local market at Thong Nguyen town before check-in your hotel.
You will have breakfast at your hotel before starting a day tour to visit the rice terrace viewing point of Nam Khoa village, interacting with tribe people in Nam Khoa. You can have lunch here at the village and relax before continue to explore Nam Hong village, other destination for rice terrace where you can view the bungalows, homestay by the side of the terrace mountain. May be enjoy the sun setting moment then return to your hotel relax and have dinner.
Breakfast at your hotel before starting a new day to discovery in-depth culture and traditional of tribe people in Hoang Su Phi and it’s wonderful rice terraces. You will visit tea factory, Phung village and continue toward Bac Ha town (should be Friday or Saturday for the next day market)
After breakfast you are going to explore tribe market where are many different groups in their own customs gethering to exchange foods and cloths. After the market explore you will get back to our vehicle for the return to Hanoi. Trip ends upon group arrive Hanoi.
