The annual event aims to promote the capital’s image as a safe, friendly, quality, and attractive tourist destination to draw more visitors to Ha Noi during the National Day holidays. It’s also meant to mark the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (10th October, 1954 - 2024) and respond to the Visit Vietnam Year - Dien Bien 2024.
This is an opportunity for Ha Noi to introduce to domestic and foreign tourists the unique cultural and culinary beauty of the land of a thousand years of civilization.
The festival will introduce Vietnamese-branded tourism gifts to domestic and international tourists, help boost the gift manufacturing industry, and contribute to strengthening tourism and culture connections.
The festival attracts dozens of booths, opening up a "36 streets" space that is close and familiar to the publicand introduces the beauty and charm of Ha Noi through gifts with the typical flavours of the 36 streets.
Besides that, there are street performances: Festival drum performance; Gong performances by Muong ethnic people (Thach That District), along with street circus performances, hip hop, and Flashmob... All will bring visitors joyful and interesting experiences.
Coming to the Festival, visitors can also participate in craft workshops such as making flute kites, performing silk reeling and silk painting, making bamboo dragonflies, making to he, making hats, colouring pictures, painting ceramic vases...; with culinary workshops such as: coffee making instructions, bartender and many other interesting activities.
