Paradise Cave
Paradise Cave was discovered in 2005 by the British Royal Caving Association. Stretching over 31 kilometers, it is one of the longest dry caves in Asia. While the entrance is relatively narrow, the interior opens up into a vast, majestic space that feels like a fairytale palace. Visitors are awed by the cave’s grandeur and the wonders of nature hidden beneath the earth. For this reason, it is often referred to as the “underground royal palace.”
Inside the cave is a dazzling array of stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes and sizes, softly illuminated by warm golden lighting. Some rock formations resemble Buddha statues, lotus towers, or ancient palaces, making it a masterpiece of nature. A wooden walkway over one kilometer long has been built to allow safe and convenient exploration. The cool and quiet atmosphere offers a sense of calm and detachment from the outside world. Every step into the cave reveals another layer of the earth’s untouched beauty.
Today, Paradise Cave is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Quang Binh, drawing visitors from across Vietnam and around the world. In addition to short sightseeing routes, adventure seekers can register for deeper exploration tours into the cave. It’s an ideal experience for nature lovers, geology enthusiasts, and those with a spirit of adventure. Paradise Cave truly deserves its reputation as a sparkling gem of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang heritage.
