An In-Depth Look Into Vietnam

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of the most interesting sites in Hanoi. The tour includes the visits to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Ba Dinh Square – The old residence of Ho Chi Minh – One Pillar Pagoda – Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - Ethnological Museum – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) – Temple of Literature – Ngoc Son Temple. Afterwards you will take an in-depth walking tour of Hanoi Old Quarter for an overview of the local life and businesses before your return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Today you will take a 5 hour drive toward Sapa, including some short breaks for coffee or toilets. Upon arrival - check in the hotel for refreshments – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) – transfer to Muong Hoa Valley – hike along a scenic trail to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages. During your hike you will come across Black Hmong, Red Dzao and Dzay people - pay short visits to local schools and local families – board your transfer and return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Breakfast – transfer by car to Ma Tra village – leave your car and take a hike along the trail with a scenic view over the artichoke, vegetable & rice terraces – during your walk, you can stop off at local schools and hill tribe families – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) – proceed to Ta Phin village – spend your time at the village – board your transfer and return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

After breakfast – transfer by car to the cable car station for a short cable ride and then take a walk to the top of the Fanxipang Mountain for a breathtaking view of the whole area – return to the car and transfer to Sapa town – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) - hike up to the top of Ham Rong mountain – spend your time at the top, where you will be overwhelmed by the panoramic view – return to the hotel for refreshments – the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Start at dawn – transfer to a local market – stroll around the market for an overview of local life and photographic opportunities – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) – transfer back to Hanoi with a lunch break along the way – arrive at the hotel in the afternoon. You will take a 4 hour drive on a countryside road through the paddy fields to Ha Long Bay, one of New Seven Natural Wonders. Upon arrival at the harbor, you will board a traditional boat – set sail through the limestone islands – have a nice seafood lunch – take a sampan ride to visit a traditional fishing village – attend a short cooking class - settle down on the upper deck for some drinks whilst watching the sunset – enjoy a delicious dinner. The rest of the day is your leisure. Why not play cards, try your luck at fishing, watch movies or simply enjoy some drinks and chat with your friends at the bar on board.

Up early – top deck – Tai Chi - enjoy your light breakfast – disembark for an easy exploration of the cave close by – return to your boat - check out your cabins – enjoy a nice brunch while sailing back to land. Upon arrival at the harbor, board your private transfer and head to Ninh Binh. On the way back (if your time permits), visit Ba Vang Pagoda – Keo pagoda in Thai Binh. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, check in the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of the most interesting sites in Ninh Binh. Today’s experiences include: Dinh & Le Temples – a sampan ride amongst the scenic Trang An – a short easy cycling tour on the quiet countryside road – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) – Bai Dinh pagoda – a short climbing to the top of the mountain for the photographic opportunities – return to the hotel for refreshments before your transfer to the railway station for the night train to Dong Hoi.

Upon arrival in Dong Hoi, you will be met & privately transferred to Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park. Upon arrival, your day will go as follows: breakfast – time for rest – take a short (30 minutes) boat ride towards Phong Nha cave – spend your time wandering (1,5km = 1 hour) inside the cave – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses). Afterwards transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Up early – breakfast – transfer by car to Paradise Cave – take a short electric car ride to the cave (2km) – take a short walk (700 steps = 30 minutes) – spend your time enjoying the marvels inside ( 1 hour) – onward travel to Dark Cave (15 minutes) – lunch – take a zip line (3 minutes) or kayak (5 minutes) – wander inside the cave (in & out: 1,5km = 2 hours) – may like to enjoy some water sports – return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours. You may like to wander or cycle around the villages for an overview of the local life.

Today you will depart for Hue city along the coastline road with lots of photographic opportunities. On the way, you will: pass through the former DMZ - the Khe Sanh battlefield - the Hien Luong bridge - the Vinh Moc tunnel - the Quang Tri citadel. Afterwards continue to Hue. Upon arrival, check in the hotel for refreshments. The rest of the day is at your leisure

After breakfast you will take an in-depth tour of this historical city. The itinerary includes visits to: Cau Ngoi Village – the countryside market - The Hue Old Citadel, which contains the Imperial City and the Purple Forbidden City – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) – take a leisurely upstream boat ride to visit Thien Mu Pagoda – Minh Mang Tomb. After breakfast you will take a 3 hour drive south along the coast road with stops at the top of Hai Van pass (Cloudy Pass), the Cham Sculpture Museum, Non Nuoc Beach, and Marble Mountain. Then proceed to Hoi An. Upon arrival, check in the hotel for refreshments – time for a rest, food and drinks (at your own expenses) - take an in-depth walking tour of the most interesting sites in Hoi An, which include the Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese Assembly Halls, Tan Ky Ancient House, and The vibrant market. Afterwards return to the hotel for refreshments before a nice dinner in the local restaurant in the ancient town. The rest of the day is yours.

After breakfast, you will be met and driven along the countryside road towards My Son Sanctuary. Upon arrival, transferred by electric car to the sites - wander around the sites for more information & photographic opportunities - enjoy a traditional show performed by Cham peopl - visit Cham Sculpture Museum. Afterwards, return to Hoi An ancient town. The rest of the day is yours.

Today you will take a short drive to Cam Thanh Coconut Village, where you get a feel for what the village life is like. Upon arrival, board a bamboo basket boat - float along the river to the Water Coconut Forest – try your luck at catching fish, crabs and shrimps - continue to Tra Que Herb Garden - try your hand at hoeing, finding uses for seaweed, transplanting and watering vegetables – join the villagers in a cooking class to prepare for lunch in a traditional way – get to eat what you have prepared!. Afterwards return to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours.

Today is yours. You will spend time at leisure to simply relax and rejuvenate

Up early – breakfast – transfer by road to Ben Tre – visit a brick factory – board a traditional style boat for a scenic cruise along the Mekong River – make some stops at local houses along the way – hop on bikes for a leisurely ride through the countryside – lunch in a typical Mekong village restaurant - board a motorboat to explore more of the Mekong Delta. Afterwards return to the car for your transfer to Cai Be. The rest of the day is yours.
