Tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Pakse (N/A)

Upon arrival, you will be met and privately transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You may like to wander around the streets for an overview of local life and photographic opportunities.

Day 2: Pakse - Various activities along the way - Tad Lo (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast - take a drive up to the plateau - along the way stop off at tea and coffee plantations and learn about the process - try some finished products - onward travel to visit Tad Fane Waterfall and Tad Yuang waterfall - picnic lunch at the stunning spot of Tad Yuang - coffee tour - proceed to Tad Lo - check in Tad Lo Lodge - spend the rest of the day by the waterfall and enjoy the tranquility of the area

Day 3: Tad Lo - Wat Phou - Champasak (Breakfast, Lunch)

Up early - watch the elephants bathing in the refreshing waterfall - breakfast - continue on your journey of the plateau with a stop at the village of Lao Ngam - wander around the village for an overview of daily local activities - onward travel to Champasak with a lunch break - visit the fascinating pre-Angkorian ruins of Wat Phou - transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 4: Champasak - Boat trip among 4,000 islands - Don Khong (Breakfast)

Breakfast - cross over the Mekong towards Ban Muang - take a drive to the harbor for a scenic boat ride through the 4.000 Islands on the Mekong River to Don Khong - check into hotel for refreshments - continue your visit to the waterfall by bicycle or by tuk tuk - head to Han Khone for a boat ride to see the Irrawaddy dolphins - return to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 5: Don Khone - Pakse (Breakfast)

Early rise - breakfast - transfer to visit the Mekong's largest waterfall, Khon Phapheng - onward travel back to Pakse. The rest of the day is yours.
