The Bago region with the capital Bago, formerly known as Pegu, was once the Capital city of Southern Myanmar, has an abundance of religions sites and is home to a beautiful palace. Everything that is of major importance can be seen within one day. Unless your love for statues of Buddha's and pagodas is strong, it will require one extra day as these are far apart from each other.
