Da Nang Overview
Located between the ancient capital of Hue to the north and the ancient city Hoi An to the south lies the port city called Danang, the third largest city in Vietnam. The history of Danang can be traced back to the ancient kingdom of Champa. However, within the city itself there are no remnants of Champa left, but looking at the artifacts displayed in the Cham sculpture museum one can still learn about this ancient kingdom.
Situated along the coast with many beautiful resorts, Danang is a perfect destination to visit in Central Vietnam. The beaches are popular among both domestic and foreign travelers and due to the increase in tourism around the area, the city is growing at an astonishing speed, faster than any other city in Vietnam.
