    Che Thot Not is a refreshing, sweet dessert made from palm fruit and palm sugar syrup. It’s light, cool, and perfect for the hot weather of the Mekong Delta. An iconic An Giang treat often enjoyed in the afternoon.

    The dessert features cubes of translucent palm fruit soaked in a golden syrup of caramelized palm sugar, sometimes with added tapioca pearls.


    It’s sweet but not overpowering, with a slightly nutty, fruity flavor from the palm fruit. Chilled with ice, it becomes the ultimate tropical refreshment.


    Sold in plastic cups or bowls at street carts, especially near temples and tourist sites. Locals often bring it home in takeaway bags.
